SOKKIA is proud to announce the new and fully integrated GPS system for the most demanding jobs. Equipped with modern technologies like Bluetooth® wireless technology, data link and power supply in a lightweight and durable package this 24-channel dual frequency receiver with integrated antenna works more efficient than any Sokkia GPS receiver ever before. All system components are integrated in the GSR2700 IS’s lightweight magnesium alloy housing: dual-frequency receiver, Pinwheel antenna, data-link, batteries, expandable memory and Bluetooth® wireless technology. The Bluetooth wireless technology allows for a completely cable free operation. No more cables to sort out, to connect and to disconnect. The internal data-link is an optional UHF radio or GSM/GPRS modem (dual-band). The internal radio is both transmit and receive; GSR2700 IS systems are completely interchangeable as base stations or rover units. Full flexibility guaranteed!

The GSR2700 IS features simple single-button operation and LED indicators for battery life, satellite tracking status, remaining memory and integer fixed occupation time. Ease of use of the receiver is further supported by voice messages which indicate the receiver status during field operation. The receiver is light weight which together with ergonomic design and cable free operation results in less fatigue and increased productivity.

The GSR2700 IS was designed to fully profit the revolutionary SDR+ data collection software. With SDR+, the GSR2700 IS can be swiftly configured for static, kinematic and RTK use. Or take advantage of the system’s built-in EGNOS and WASS capability to provide real-time positioning without the need for a base station. Because of its flexibility, the GSR2700 IS can be set up for multiple configurations.
